Dead Wood

We had a very nice Christmas, how about you? We still need to put the top eaves on the treehouse. It takes a long time just to get prepared to put in the eaves. You have to have wood to nail the plywood to. Royce had to nail boards to the outside, up underneath where the eaves would be.

He also had to cut and nail framing pieces in place so the eaves would be level.

Dead wood had to be nailed to the inside of the treehouse also.

Some places were really a tight squeeze so he used a vice grip to hold the boards in place to nail them.

This took all day so we didn't get to start on the plywood yet. Maybe next week. The New Year is fast approaching, where did the time go?
