Working on the Doorway

During the week Royce took the pine 2 X 12 to our store and used one of the saws to cut the arch for the doorway. Then Saturday he nailed everything together and hauled the archway up the three flights of stairs. You would think he was a weight lifter or something. . .

Anyway I think it's going to look awesome once we get it actually in place. First Royce held it in place for me to see what it was going to look like, then I held it.

I know one thing it's very heavy and awkward to move. So what do you think?

Next we have to build the wall on either side of the doorway.
