Are We Getting Ahead Of Ourselves

Yes, you're seeing it. We bought a television and a home theater system or should I call it a tree house theater system.

Royce couldn't wait . . . so he decided to mount it to the unfinished wall. After all the Olympics are on and we didn't want to miss watching Team USA

He got it mounted just in time to see the cyclists competition. Yeah it will definitely look better when we get the wall finished. But for now we get to watch the Olympics while we work.

Royce used canned foam to seal the cracks in the walls and the edge around the inside walls and floor of the tree house. Then we began sealing the cracks between the boards in the floor until we ran out of caulking.

Hopefully this will keep moisture out of the tree house.

Porthole Window

We are trying to seal all the places in the tree house where the air conditioned air might escape. So the porthole window was first on our list.

I painted some flowers and "Our Family Tree House" inside the window so anyone looking in could see it.

After I finished my painting, Royce installed the Brass porthole window.
